The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh ranked Xinjiang Flying Tige's (18-13) home victory over 8th ranked Fujian SBS XunXin (17-15) in Urumqi 104-79 on Wednesday. Xinjiang Flying Tige made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. Fujian SBS XunXin was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for American swingman Tim Pickett (193-81, college: Florida St.) who helped to win the game recording 42 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!). International guard Tal Co (191-91) contributed with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American center Will McDonald (211-79, college: S.Florida) replied with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and Jordanian forward Zaid Abbas (203-83) added 18 points and 17 rebounds in the effort for Fujian SBS XunXin. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Fujian SBS XunXin's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Xinjiang Flying Tige moved-up to fifth place. Fujian SBS XunXin lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 15 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
