No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked 08 Stockholm (14-16) beat on the road bottom-ranked Eco Orebro (2-28) 91-80. The game was mostly controlled by 08 Stockholm. Eco Orebro was better in second period 21-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 08 Stockholm players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Icelandic swingman Helgi Magnusson (198-82, college: Catawba) who scored 27 points and 6 rebounds. The former international center Johan Akesson (210-84, agency: Warren Sports International) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Demond Watt (200-89, college: Texas A&M-CC) who recorded 29 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all twelve shots !!!) and the former international guard Andrew Pleick (196-80, college: Lafayette) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. 08 Stockholm maintains eighth position with 14-16 record. Eco Orebro lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 28 lost games. 08 Stockholm will have a break next round. Eco Orebro will play on the road against the league's second-placed Sodertalje Kings (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
