Regular Season Round 19: Kormend - Albacomp 71-95

Very important is a home loss of second ranked Kormend (15-4) against fourth ranked Albacomp (14-4) on Friday night. Host Kormend was crushed by Albacomp in Kormend 95-71. The game was mostly controlled by Albacomp. Kormend was better in fourth quarter 21-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Albacomp dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Kormend's 30. American players dominated the game. It was a great evening for swingman Muhammad El Amin (196-87, college: Stony Brook) who led his team to a victory scoring 30 points and 5 assists. Forward Damian Hollis (203-88, college: G.Washington) helped adding 21 points and 7 rebounds. Four Albacomp players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Rashad Bell (201-82, college: Boston U.) responded with 25 points and power forward Darian Townes (208-84) scored 7 points and 6 rebounds. Albacomp maintains fourth place with 14-4 record. Kormend at the other side dropped to the third position with four games lost. Albacomp will play against Jaszberenyi (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kormend will play against FS Debrecen (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
