But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Cajacanarias won last quarter 20-11. Cajacanarias moved-up to fourth place in Group A, which they share with Ferrol. Loser Maquinaria Ensino dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. Cajacanarias will face Universidad de Valladolid (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Maquinaria Ensino will play against Alvargomez Guadalajara (#14).
