Another exciting game for Kumanovo 2009 (9-11) which played in Skopje against 5th ranked Fersped-Rabotnicki (8-12). Sixth ranked Kumanovo 2009 won 98-92. The guests were ahead by 1 point but lost the second period ending it with a 5-point deficit before their 33-22 run, which allowed them to win the game. Kumanovo 2009 made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Kumanovo 2009 outrebounded Fersped-Rabotnicki 42-22 including 17 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian center Uros Lukovic (212-89) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and Serbian forward Milan Janjusevic (196-83) who added 19 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Serbian power forward Nemanja Jelesijevic (210-79, agency: World Sport Agency) responded with 31 points and 7 rebounds and guard Jane Petrovski (181-87) scored 24 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kumanovo 2009 moved-up to fifth place. Fersped-Rabotnicki lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with 12 games lost. Kumanovo 2009 will play against higher ranked Torus Skopje (#3) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Fersped-Rabotnicki's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Skopje to the arena Lirija.
