11th ranked Maccabi Haifa (3-13) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Maccabi Ashdod (7-8) with the biggest margin this round 84-74 on Sunday night. The game was mostly controlled by Maccabi Ashdod. Maccabi Haifa was better in third quarter 21-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
