Strangely Golden Hawks outrebounded Gryphons 50-32 including a 36-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Guard Drew Morris (183) stepped up and scored 20 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners and guard Kareem Malcolm (183) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side guard Conor Meschino (195) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and forward Sharif Wanas (205) scored 9 points and 14 rebounds. Golden Hawks' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
