Cascades were tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Cascades were plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. Daryl Cooper fired 25 points for the winners. Morgan Duce chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws). Pronghorn's coach Dave Adams used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Forward Kyle Grewal (198-88) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and American guard Sheldon Bjorgaard (178, college: MSU Moorhead) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
