Play-Offs Round 2: UBC - Alberta 68-91

Date: February 25, 2012
The game was mostly controlled by Golden Bears. Thunderbirds managed to win fourth quarter 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Golden Bears forced 19 Thunderbirds turnovers. The best player for the winners was international guard Jordan Baker (192-91, college: Utah Valley) who scored 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Sahr Saffa (191-90) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. Four Golden Bears players scored in double figures. International point guard Nathan Yu (189-89) produced 23 points and swingman Kamar Burke (196-86) added 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
