A very interesting game took place in Jonava. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of higher ranked Mazeikiai (22-16) to ninth ranked Triobet (20-18) 77-76 on Saturday evening. Triobet made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Triobet outrebounded Mazeikiai 39-26 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by Mazeikiai helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was forward Henrikas Vorotnikovas (203-90) who scored 22 points and 9 rebounds. Center Paulius Vaitiekunas (208-87) chipped in 18 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field).
