Satria Muda managed to secure a 8-point victory 65-57. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Satria Muda outrebounded Singapore Slingers 52-29 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by American power forward Steve Thomas (204-81, college: Middle Tenn.St.) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks and point guard Mario Wuysang (176-79) supported him with 21 points. Even 20 points and 7 rebounds by American center Donald Little (211-78, college: Cincinnati) did not help to save the game for Singapore Slingers. His fellow American import power forward Louis Graham (205-84, agency: Z.A.G. - Law Offices) added 15 points and 11 rebounds for the guests. Satria Muda moved-up to fourth place. Singapore Slingers lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. Satria Muda's next round opponent will be league's second-placed KL Dragons in Kuala Lumpur and it may be the game of the week.
