There was a change at the Superleague leadership position after last games. Round 5 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Feni Indistrija (17-4). They were crushed by second ranked MZT Skopje (17-4) 90-71 on Saturday night. It was a key game for the top position in . It was a very close game until the last quarter, when MZT Skopje's pressure prevailed and they won that period 22-9 extending their advantage to 19 points. International center Todor Gecevski (209-77, agency: Interperformances) stepped up and scored 27 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners and Serbian guard Igor Mijajlovic (193-84, agency: Global Sports Plaza) chipped in 19 points and 4 steals. Feni Indistrija will play next round against Kumanovo 2009 trying to make it back to the top of the standings. MZT Skopje will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked Fersped-Rabotnicki. It will be extra interesting game as Fersped-Rabotnicki is their local rival from Skopje.
