USK Praha (#6) forced the game against BC Kolin (#5) into an overtime, but lost by six points 96-102 on Saturday night. The game took place in Praha. But the guests from Kolin were better at the end. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 167-160 charge in the second half, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 12-96. The best player for the winners was American point guard Rashaan Ames (184-78, college: Shaw) who scored 24 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Forward David Machac (204-80) chipped in 20 points and 9 rebounds. Five BC Kolin players scored in double figures. The former international forward Vojtech Hruban (202-89) produced 38 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and Slovakian center Peter Sedmak (207-85) added 23 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. USK Praha's coach Ken Scalabroni rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. BC Kolin maintains fifth position in A1 with 18-20 record. USK Praha at the other side keeps the sixth place with 13 games lost. BC Kolin will face higher ranked BK Pardubice (#4) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. USK Praha will play against the league's second-placed BK Prostejov.
