The game without a history. Brock led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Laurier to just 6 points in second quarter. Brock forced 21 Laurier turnovers and outrebounded them 49-38 including 18 on the offensive glass. Forward Samantha Dejong (183) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 18 rebounds. Forward Nicole Rosenkranz (185) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Forward Christa Mancino (185) replied with 17 points and 7 rebounds and guard Felicia Mazerolle (160) added 9 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Laurier. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
