The guests were ahead by 5 points but lost the second period ending it with a 7-point deficit before their 19-11 run, which allowed them to win the game. Stingers forced 24 Rouge et Or turnovers. Strangely Rouge et Or outrebounded Stingers 54-31 including a 38-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Evens Laroche (193) saved the victory by scoring 17 points. International point guard Kyle Desmarais (188-87, college: Cent.Conn.St.) contributed with 11 points for the winners. Swingman Etienne Labrecque (196-86, college: Quinnipiac) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and naturalized Bosnian forward Boris Hadzimuratovic (204-91, college: High School) added 14 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for Rouge et Or. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
