The Fort Wayne Mad Ants ended a six game Dakota Wizards winning streak in a thrilling 116-115 victory over the Dakota Wizards. The Wizards started the game with the hot hand scoring an impressive 40 points in the first period shooting 75% from the field. They led the Mad Ants 40-24 going into the second. They cooled off significantly in the second due to stifling Mad Ants defense. The Mad Ants cut the lead to just 4 points going into the locker rooms at the half. The second was an all out battle as the period saw 9 lead changes and 8 ties. The Mad Ants outscored the Wizards 34-27 behind 11 third period points from Cameron Jones as they led 93-90 going into the final period of the game. The Wizards led by 5 with just 1:24 left on the clock but the Mad Ants scored 6 straight points including back to back jump shots from Ron Howard to take the lead with just 0:12 left. Stefhon Hannah answered quickly for the Wizards with a jump shot to take the lead back for the Wizards. With :06 left on the clock Jones was fouled on a drive to the basket and nailed two free throws to seal the win for Mad Ants. Marcus Dove led the way for the Wizards with 22 points off of 10 of 13 shooting from the field. Hannah finished with 21 points and 9 assists.
