An interesting game was also tough home loss of 4th ranked Caciques in a game in Humacao versus undefeated Quebradillas (#5) 94-82. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by Quebradillas. Caciques managed to win second period 22-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Law) came up with 27 points and 9 rebounds and American swingman Rashad McCants (193-84, college: N.Carolina) added 28 points respectively for Caciques in the defeat. Quebradillas (1-0) keep a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Caciques still closes the standings with one game lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Quebradillas will meet at home bottom-ranked Atleticos (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Caciques will have a break next round.
