Another exciting game was played in Joniskis between sixth ranked Zalgiris-Sabonio and one of their biggest challengers Delikatesas where Zalgiris-Sabonio (23-17) beat Delikatesas (22-18) on the road 83-72. The game without a history. Zalgiris-Sabonio led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Justas Tamulis (194-94) who helped to win the game recording 26 points. Power forward Simonas Kymantas (204-93) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Zalgiris-Sabonio's coach Tomas Masiulis allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Center Tautvydas Slezas (207-90, agency: Interperformances) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds and guard Vidmantas Uzkuraitis (189-85) added 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Delikatesas. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Zalgiris-Sabonio moved-up to fifth place in . Delikatesas at the other side dropped to the sixth position with 18 games lost. Zalgiris-Sabonio will play against higher ranked Matinga-Juod. (#4) in Marijampole in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Delikatesas will play on the road against Mazeikiai and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
