Top ranked Radviliskis (26-14) recorded its fourteenth loss at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Matinga-Juod. (23-17) 88-83. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 88-83. Matinga-Juod. dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Radviliskis' 36. Guard Aurimas Birgelis (190-88) fired 27 points for the winners. Center Mindaugas Kalvelis (205-80) chipped in 20 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Tomas Rakauskas (183-81) produced 19 points and 4 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and forward Audrius Mineikis (201-77) added 17 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) respectively for lost side. Radviliskis will play on the road against the league's second-placed LKKA-Atletas (#2) in Kaunas and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
