The Erie BayHawks (18-17) were able to fend off the pesky Sioux Falls Skyforce (9-28), sweeping the weekend series with a 94-91 finish on Sunday night. Erie held a thirteen point lead in the fourth quarter with two minutes to go but the Skyforce were able to throw up multiple shots in the final seconds in an attempt to send the game to overtime. The Skyforce were able to increase their advantage to ten at the half, behind 12 points from Marqus Blakely and 11 from Trey Gilder. The tide turned in the third frame as Erie erased the ten point deficit and took a lead of five into the final quarter thanks to a 14-0 run midway through the third period. The BayHawks extended their lead to 13 with two minutes left to play. Three BayHawks turnovers helped Sioux Falls cut the lead to three points but the Skyforce were unable to capitalize and Erie won by a final of 94-91. It was D.J. Kennedy who led the BayHawks in the scoring department with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Kyle Goldcamp pitched in 20 points and 15 rebounds, Tyrone Brazelton added 16 points to go along with 10 assists and Jerome Jordan scored 15 points.
