The game between closely ranked teams ended with bottom-ranked Anwil's (0-2) road loss to fourth ranked Trefl Sopot (2-1) 67-88 on Sunday. The game without a history. Trefl Sopot led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The former international forward Filip Dylewicz (202-80) scored 29 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and international forward Adam Waczynski (199-89, agency: Limelight Hoops) chipped in 23 points and 6 assists during the contest. Naturalized Bosnian forward Seid Hajric (203-83) responded with 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and international guard Dardan Berisha (192-88, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group) scored 15 points. Four Anwil players scored in double figures. Trefl Sopot moved-up to second place in Group A, which they share with Zastal ZG. Loser Anwil still closes the standings with two games lost. Trefl Sopot will face PGE Turow (#5) in Zgorzelec in the next round. Anwil will play at home against Zastal ZG in Zielona Gora and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
