The game was mostly controlled by Axemen. X-Men was better in third quarter 19-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 19-of-23 charity shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Axemen brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Owen Klassen (208-91) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Anthony Sears (193) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Axemen players scored in double figures. Forward Jeremy Dunn (198) replied with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and guard Terry Thomas (193) added 19 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) in the effort for X-Men. X-Men's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
