Rather expected game when 6th ranked USK Praha (15-15) was defeated at home by fourth ranked BK Pardubice (21-9) 81-66 on Tuesday. The game without a history. BK Pardubice led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to USK Praha's 34. They outrebounded USK Praha 32-18 including 23 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Marcus Arnold (207-84, college: Illinois, agency: Stanley International) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 7 rebounds and Canadian-Jamaican forward Corey Muirhead (198-83, college: W.Carolina) who added 10 points and 4 assists during the contest. Arnold is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four BK Pardubice players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international forward Vojtech Hruban (202-89) responded with 22 points and the former international center Stanislav Votroubek (212-81) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. BK Pardubice moved-up to third place in A1, which they share with BK Decin. USK Praha lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 15 games lost. BK Pardubice will face league's leader CEZ Nymburk at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. USK Praha will play against BK Decin (#3).
