Very important is a road loss of second ranked Frisco Sika (23-7) against fourth ranked Sokol Hradec Kralove (17-13) on Wednesday night. Visiting Frisco Sika was crushed by Sokol Hradec Kralove in Hradec Kralove 71-52. The game without a history. Sokol Hradec Kralove led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Sokol Hradec Kralove outrebounded Frisco Sika 44-28 including 31 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Lenka Bartakova (175-91) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 4 assists and the former international center Michaela Hartigova (192-83) who added 10 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. Sokol Hradec Kralove's coach Miroslav Volejnik allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Power forward Barbora Kasparkova (182-92) responded with 17 points and 5 rebounds and international power forward Alena Hanusova (189-91) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. Sokol Hradec Kralove maintains fourth position in Group A1 with 17-13 record. Defending champion Frisco Sika keeps the second place with seven games lost. Sokol Hradec Kralove will play against league's leader USK Praha at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Frisco Sika will play against Basket Slovanka MB in Vodochody and hopes to get back on the winning track.
