Quarter-Finals Round 1: Bakken - Aalborg 91-71

The game was mostly controlled by Bakken. Aalborg was better in fourth quarter 22-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bakken dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Aalborg's 34. American guard Joshua Alexander (193-87, college: SF Austin) stepped up and scored 24 points and 4 assists for the winners and the former international center Chris Christoffersen (218-79, college: Oregon) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side American forward Tony Bishop (201-89, college: Texas St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import point guard Ryan White (177-88, college: Texas St.) scored 16 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
