Vaerlose was tied at the half and again at the end of regular time. But they could not keep up in overtime eventually losing that period 9-17. Svendborg brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Chanan Colman (191-84, college: Chipola) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 5 rebounds. International guard Mikkel Plannthin (195-88) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Five Svendborg players scored in double figures. Forward Mads Rasmussen (191-86) answered with 33 points (!!!) and 4 assists and American guard Reginald Delk (193-86, college: Louisville) added 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Vaerlose.
