The game in Dnepropetrovsk was also worth to mention about. 7th ranked Ferro-ZNTU (18-14) played at the court of eighth ranked Dnipro (17-15). Dnipro managed to secure a 5-point victory 94-89. Ferro-ZNTU was ahead by 8 points at the halftime before a 51-38 second half run of Dnipro. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Qyntel Woods (203-81, college: N.Mississippi JC) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 rebounds. International guard Steven Burtt (185-84, college: Iona) contributed with 17 points and 8 assists for the winners. American guard Randy Culpepper (182-89, college: UTEP) answered with 35 points (!!!) and the other American import guard Jeremy Chappell (191-87, college: Robert Morris) added 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Ferro-ZNTU. Four Dnipro and five Ferro-ZNTU players scored in double figures. Dnipro maintains eighth place with 17-15 record. Ferro-ZNTU at the other side dropped to the sixth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Hoverla. Dnipro will play against league's leader Budivelnyk in Kyiv in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ferro-ZNTU will play at home against Kryvbasbasket (#10) in Krivoy Rog and hopes to get back on the winning track.
