The game was mostly controlled by Golden Bears. Rams was better in third quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Golden Bears dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Rams' 22. They outrebounded Rams 44-18 including a 16-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Jordan Baker (192-91, college: Utah Valley) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. Swingman Daniel Ferguson (191, college: Valdosta St.) contributed with 23 points for the winners. International point guard Jahmal Jones (183-91) answered with 15 points and 4 assists and forward Bjorn Michaelsen (201) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Rams. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
