The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Brock forced 19 Saskatchewan turnovers. Strangely Saskatchewan outrebounded Brock 39-24 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Nicole Rosenkranz (185) nailed 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and forward Samantha Dejong (183) accounted for 13 points. Forward Katie Miyazaki (175-89) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds and forward Dalyce Emmerson (191) added 16 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Saskatchewan in the defeat. Saskatchewan's coach Lisa Thomaidis rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
