No shocking result in a game when third ranked Basketbal Svitavy (15-19) smashed at home 6th ranked Inter Bratislava (9-25) 81-61 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Basketbal Svitavy. Inter Bratislava was better in fourth quarter 13-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Basketbal Svitavy made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American point guard Michael Deloach (183-86, college: Norfolk St.) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 assists. Congolese-French forward Boris Meno (203-83, college: Davidson, agency: Two Points) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Four Basketbal Svitavy players scored in double figures. Bosnian center Stjepan Gavran (206-78) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and Irish-Serbian power forward Mihajlo Pesic (206-81, agency: Court Side) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Basketbal Svitavy. They moved-up to second place in A2, which they share with Levice. Inter Bratislava lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with 25 games lost. Basketbal Svitavy will face BK Usti nad Labem (#5) at home in the next round. Inter Bratislava will play against Levharti Chomutov and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
