The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh ranked Vardar's (6-12) home victory over 8th ranked Kozuv (4-14) in Skopje 97-89 on Saturday. Kozuv was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Vardar shot 64.0 percent from the field. It was a great shooting night for Vardar especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 60.0 percentage. The winners were led by swingman Vladimir Georgievski (194-82) who scored that evening 28 points and 5 rebounds and guard Angel Tasevski (187-83) supported him with 20 points and 6 assists. Even 30 points and 4 assists by guard Aleksandar Dimitrovski (193-80) did not help to save the game for Kozuv. Montenegrin center Miko Golubovic (206-82, agency: Global Sports Plaza) added 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Kozuv's coach tested eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Vardar maintains seventh position in Play Out with 6-12 record. Kozuv at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eighth place with 14 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
