Play-Offs Round 6: Windsor - Ottawa 58-55

The hosts trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 58-55. Windsor dominated on the defensive end, holding Ottawa to just 5 points in second quarter. They also forced 27 Ottawa turnovers. Strangely Ottawa outrebounded Windsor 34-20 including a 25-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for point guard Miah-Marie Langlois (176-91) who led her team to a victory with 20 points and 7 rebounds. French forward Jessica Clemencon (188-89) contributed with 18 points (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!) for the winners. Forward Elizabeth Lennox (185) replied with 17 points and 6 rebounds and international guard Kellie Ring (178-93) added 16 points and 4 assists in the effort for Ottawa. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
