No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Thailand Bangkok Cobras (5-6) beat at home 7th ranked Singapore Singapore Slingers (4-8) 79-74. Singapore Slingers were ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 38-32 second half run of Bangkok Cobras. They also forced 26 Singapore Slingers turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by Singapore Slingers helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American power forward Gentry Lewis (206-81, college: Philander Smith) fired 24 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. Filipino guard Marvin Cruz (173-84) chipped in 26 points. Lewis is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American power forward Louis Graham (205-84, agency: Z.A.G. - Law Offices) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and his fellow American import center Donald Little (211-78, college: Cincinnati) added 17 points and 9 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) respectively for lost side.
