A very interesting game took place in Perugia. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of one of their biggest challengers Casalpusterlengo (17-12) to third ranked Perugia (13-15) 79-77 in the game for the third place. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Casalpusterlengo. Perugia maintains third position with 13-15 record having thirteen points less than leader Omegna which they share with defeated Casalpusterlengo. Casalpusterlengo at the other side dropped to the third place with 12 games lost. Perugia's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Trieste on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week. Casalpusterlengo will play against the league's second-placed Ferentino and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
