The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 18-14. But Vaerlose won second period 20-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Svendborg dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Vaerlose's 26.
