Regular Season Round 21: Gigantes - Guaros 72-70

Ninth-ranked Guaros (5-13) were very close to win a game against fourth ranked Gigantes (13-7) in Puerto Ordaz on Tuesday. Gigantes managed to secure only two-point victory 72-70. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 72-70. Gigantes moved-up to third place. Guaros lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 13 games lost. Gigantes will meet at home bottom-ranked Toros (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Guaros will play against Guaiqueries in Porlamar and hope to secure a win.
