LPB top team - Marinos (19-3) had no problems winning another game on Tuesday. This time they beat tenth ranked Toros (3-17) in Puerto La Cruz 95-79. The game was mostly controlled by Marinos. Toros managed to win second period 22-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Marinos have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 19-3 record. Toros lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost. Marinos are looking forward to face Trotamundos (#5) in Valencia in the next round. Toros will play on the road against Gigantes (#3) in Puerto Ordaz and are hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
