It looked good early as BC Nokia took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Forssan Koripojat had a 22-20 second period charge getting the lead and BC Nokia was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 74-96. Forssan Koripojat made 21-of-25 charity shots (84.0 percent) during the game. Guard Sami Ikavalko (188-89) scored 26 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Tracy Robinson (201-86, college: Loyola, IL) chipped in 19 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. American-British power forward Gerald January (201-88, college: Montevallo, agency: Hightower Law Firm) responded with 21 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Darren Townes (201-86, college: Hofstra) scored 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
