Americana had no problems sealing their semifinal appearance as they swept the series versus Basquete Clube. The game without a history. Americana led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Basquete Clube's 30. Americana forced 21 Basquete Clube turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 33 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Basquete Clube's players. The former international guard Karen Gustavo (177-84) notched 27 points and 4 assists to lead the effort and international center Carina Felippus (184-79) supported her with 18 points and 6 rebounds. Even 24 points by forward Cleia Crepaldi (173-77) did not help to save the game for Basquete Clube. Center Fernanda Bibiano (193-85) added 6 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
