The most interesting game of round 26 was a derby match between two teams from Serbia. The game took place in Beograd where third ranked Partizan won against host Zvezda (11-15) 84-69. The game without a history. Partizan led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Partizan outrebounded Zvezda 38-23 including a 30-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. 25 personal fouls committed by Zvezda helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Center Milan Macvan (206-89, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group) had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Dominic James (180-86, college: Marquette) chipped in 20 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four Partizan players scored in double figures. American forward Omar Thomas (197-82, college: UTEP) responded with 16 points and guard Bojan Popovic (191-83) scored 10 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending Serbian champion (19-7) moved-up to second place, which they share with Cedevita. Zvezda at the other side keeps the tenth position with 15 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
