The game in Bangkok was also quite interesting. Second ranked Filipino Petron Blaze (10-3) played at the court of 5th ranked Thailand Bangkok Cobras (5-7). Petron Blaze managed to secure a 8-point victory 86-78 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Bangkok Cobras. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Bangkok Cobras won third quarter 27-25. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Petron Blaze looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Leo Avenido (186-78) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!) and American forward Dalron Johnson (206-81, college: UNLV) who added 20 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals during the contest. Petron Blaze's coach Ato Agustin used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American power forward Gentry Lewis (206-81, college: Philander Smith) with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists and American-Guyanese Travis George (206-85) scored 20 points and 7 rebounds.
