Itabom/Bauru advanced to the second stage of Liga Americas as the second ranked team of Group D. The Brazilian squad registered 2 wins and 1 defeat. In the last day of the Preliminary Round, Itabom/Bauru handed 89-83 loss to Quimsa. Douglas Nunes shined for the winners with 23 points and 9 rebounds. Fernando Fischer also was great scoring 23 pts and Larry Taylor added 17 points, plus 8 assists. In Quimsa, Diego Lo Grippo delivered 29 points. Damian Tintorelli (10 rebs) and Jesse Pellot-Rosa (5 rebs) netted 16 points each. Quarters: 24-21, 19-21, 21-24, 25-17.
