Trutnov made another step towards the next stage as they held off VSE Praha at home court. Center Lenka Vetrovcova (188-84) notched a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and the former international forward Hana Snajdrova-Ziklova (183-80) supported her with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Four Kara Trutnov players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds by American forward Marshae Dotson (180-87, college: Florida) did not help to save the game for VSE Praha. point guard Denisa Harapesova (168-90) added 9 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. VSE Praha's coach Martina Balastikova rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win.
