The hosts trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 45-32 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. BC Nokia dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Forssan Koripojat's 30. Worth to mention a great performance of American-British power forward Gerald January (201-88, college: Montevallo, agency: Hightower Law Firm) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds. American forward Darren Townes (201-86, college: Hofstra) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four BC Nokia players scored in double figures. American power forward Brian Moultrie (198-87, college: Armstr.Atlantic) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Tracy Robinson (201-86, college: Loyola, IL) added 17 points in the effort for Forssan Koripojat.
