Buducnost turned the tables in the final period to snatch a tough home win over Valencia in the first game of the EuroCup quarterfinal series. Bojan Dubljevic and Jermaine Anderson scored 15 points each to lead the hosts. Valencia enjoyed a narrow 21:20 lead after ten minutes of action. Buducnost put their noses in front in the second quarter. The Montenegrin team eked out a 40:39 halftime lead. Valencia however pulled back in charge in the third quarter. The Spaniards held the home team to 14 points in the frame to ensure a comfortable 61:54 lead with ten minutes remaining. Buducnost showed their character in the final frame. Cheered up by the home crowd the Montenegrin champions held their opponent to 10 points and rushed ahead for a key win at the end. Bojan Krstovic and Nikola Ivanovic provided 9 points each for the winners. Nando De Colo answered with 12 points for Valencia. Florent Pietrus had 11 points in the loss.
