Svit advanced into the semifinals after stealing a narrow road win over Handlova. The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 22-19 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Svit dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Handlova's 30. They outrebounded Handlova 41-26 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Kenneth Henderson (201-82, college: Texas Arlington) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Julian Mascoll (193-84) who added 18 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side swingman Anthony Jones (194-84, college: Indiana Tech) responded with 29 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists and forward Sean Hampton (195-75, college: Alders.-Broad.) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four Handlova players scored in double figures.
