No shocking result in a game in Pasvalys where fifth ranked Pieno Zvaigzdes (11-7) defeated 7th ranked Kedainiai (7-12) 73-59. They outrebounded Kedainiai 37-23 including a 27-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for American-Puerto Rican point guard TreVon Hughes (183-87, college: Wisconsin, agency: Edge Sports) who helped to win the game recording 18 points. Gytis Sirutavicius (195-83) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Aurimas Adomaitis (206-87, college: LIU Brooklyn) answered with 12 points and 8 rebounds and American forward David McClure (200-86, college: Duke) added 9 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Kedainiai. Both coaches used bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Pieno Zvaigzdes. Newly promoted Pieno Zvaigzdes maintains fifth place with 11-7 record. Kedainiai at the other side keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with Neptunas. Pieno Zvaigzdes will play against Baltai Kaunas (#6) on the road in the next round. Kedainiai will play against Neptunas in Klaipeda and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
