Second Stage Round 5: AZS Koszalin - Siarka Jezioro 92-72

The game between Top Four teams took place in Koszalin. Third ranked host AZS Koszalin (16-16) smashed 4th placed Siarka Jezioro (14-18) 92-72. The game was mostly controlled by AZS Koszalin. American forward Nicchaeus Doaks (202-87, college: Chattanooga) responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds and center Dariusz Wyka (207-91) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. AZS Koszalin moved-up to second place in Group B, which they share with Kotwica. Loser Siarka Jezioro keeps the fourth position with 18 games lost. AZS Koszalin will face AZS Politechnika Warszawska (#6) in Warszawa in the next round. Siarka Jezioro will play on the road against Kotwica in Kolobrzeg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
