Sixth-ranked USK Praha (15-17) gave a tough game to fifth ranked BC Kolin (22-21). BC Kolin managed to secure only two-point victory 97-95. However their fans expected easier game. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Rashaan Ames (184-78, college: Shaw) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 steals. His fellow American import guard Chadwick-Farrell Barnes (190-83, college: New Orleans) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four BC Kolin players scored in double figures. Slovakian center Peter Sedmak (207-85) answered with 36 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and the former international forward Vojtech Hruban (202-89) added 18 points in the effort for USK Praha. BC Kolin have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fifth place in A1 with 22-21 record. USK Praha lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 17 games lost. BC Kolin's next round opponent will be higher ranked BK Pardubice (#4) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. USK Praha will play against the league's second-placed BK Prostejov.
