1/8 Finals Round 4: Licher Baeren - Bernau 90-55
Date: March 25, 2012
The game was mostly controlled by Licher Baeren. SSV Lok Bernau managed to win fourth quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a quality performance of naturalized Israeli guard Guy Aud (182-89) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and American guard Blake Young (188-85, college: Kansas St.) who added 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Aud is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Licher Baeren players scored in double figures. At the losing side American power forward Martinis Woody (201-82, college: Benedict) responded with 14 points and 9 rebounds and forward Sebastian Trzcionka (197-79) scored 12 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
